What You Should Know about Charleston

Charleston is a very walkable city, but the colonial sidewalks are uneven and its best to wear comfortable shoes so you don't break an ankle. Uber and pedicabs are also a good way to get around. It is very safe and I feel comfortable by myself in most places even at night. But don't be foolish. always better to have a group. Charleston is called the Holy City due to the staggering amount of churches on this small peninsula- 189! The food scene is diverse and award winning- just make sure to make reservations! Gone are the days when you can just walk in and get a table.
