We love it here - The variety of trees and plants means there is always something to see at any time of year. There are lots of hidden delights and its so peaceful and relaxing. It also has a fab play area for children and its a lovely place to let them burn off some steam. The Birds of Prey and Mammal centre is fab - Wallaby woods is great for getting up close and personal with the Wallabys! You can even feed them by hand!

This is a beautiful drive over the moors away - Everything for adventurers! Also, The cafe is fantastic - Wholesome food and a glass floor which looks down into the gorge! Well worth a visit.

Swinton Bivouac has lots to offer - cycle tracks for all abilities. Walking trails and beautiful views overlooking Leighton Reservoir. The cafe serves lovely food and drinks. The Druids Temple is worth exploring - a really interesting place!

Very strange and quirky place! Lots to do and to marvel at! Not just for families and children, adults love it too. Great outdoor adventure. Booking in advance is essential. The Saddle Rooms restaurant is on site and well worth booking for a meal.

The Saddle Room is about a 20min drive away up the Dale. It is well worth the journey - the food is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend the Sunday Roasts! Booking in advance required. The Forbidden corner is based here too so you can combine the two for a fab day out!

The Saddle Room is about a 20min drive away up the Dale. It is well worth the journey - the food is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend the Sunday Roasts! Booking in advance required. The Forbidden corner is based here too so you can combine the two for a fab day out!

Toilets on site and occasionally the cafe is open but don’t rely on it.
