Just 11 minutes away, Lake Serene is one of our favorite local hikes for intermediate to advanced hikers with a bit of stamina. Venture to see Bridal Veil Falls or trek further to the summit to see the alpine Lake Serene. Depending on how many sites you see, your hike will last anywhere from 5-8 miles, so be sure to leave 4-8 hours for the hike depending on your desired pace.
Check the Alltrails for recent trail condition and beware of inaccessabilty during winter months due to heavy snow.

The trail is free to access and right by the primary Steven's Pass ski resort (40 minutes away). Ask Eddie about borrowing snow shoes if you need equipment! You'll experience views of a frozen lake, rocky crags, and sweeping panoramic mountain views over the resort.
