Locals love to spend their freetime at the Donaukanal. In summer it’s a great place to hang out and dip your toes in the cold Danube, having picknick, strolling around and having a glass of beer or enjoying brunch at a local bar. It‘s my running area and where I catch up with friends cause there is always something to see or do :)

Lovely oldstyle Restaurant with great options for vegans, too. On the picture you can see a traditional Austrian supper (called "Jause"), usually very meat-heavy but at Hildebrandt you get it plantbased too.

Use the app "WienMobil" for public transportation
You can buy tickets and you get different options what kind of public transportation is the fastest/best in Vienna. For trips outside of Vienna you can use the App too.
In Austria there are two main railway companies (for public transportation): ÖBB (all around Austria) & Westbahn (partial: from Vienna to Salzburg). Both have apps that help you booking your ticket and figuring out when and where to and from :)

... Vienna is one of the lucky places on earth having tabwater with an exorbitant good quality (it's from the mountains outside the city). No need to by mineral water ;)
