One of the original LOHI Denver farm to table restaurants. I appreciate that it's not screaming loud and relatively easy to get a reservation but most of all the food is always excellent.

If you are looking for a classic North Denver place where the food has loyal followers but the Mexican fare is definitely not gourmet, this is a good place for fast take out (and its only a block away). In this gentrifying neighborhood this place is classic "Old Denver".

1231 W 38th AveIf you are looking for a classic North Denver place where the food has loyal followers but the Mexican fare is definitely not gourmet, this is a good place for fast take out (and its only a block away). In this gentrifying neighborhood this place is classic "Old Denver".
This is my prefered local Mexican place. My favorites are the variety of salsas and sope de pollo.

The food and service at this place are absolutely divine! This is my first choice to recommend an excellent meal that you will not forget. It’s only two blocks from the unit!

This place has the best tacos. I dream about the birria tacos and consome. It's only block away and also has fantastic cocktails and beer.

This is my go to upscale night out that will not break the bank AND is not hard to get a reservation. The evening meals are great and they serve lunch and brunch.

If you want a fun night of drinking and pizza, this is your place!!!!! Its particularly good in the summer when the entire dining are opens up.

I have not been but this sandwich shop is within walking distance and is very popular. It's also on a Michelin guide and that is probably why the wait can be long.

This beautiful French restaurant is an easy walk, the food is amazing and its oh so romantic. They also have French pastries and coffee/tea during the day!

This Whole Foods grocery and the adjacent King Soopers grocery are walkable as long as you don't want to carry heavy groceries back otherwise there are parking garages for both.

The flagship REI store, Wilderness Exchange, Fjallraven, Athletica are all great places to shop for outdoor gear. There are coffee shops, pizza and donuts and Commons Park + Confluence Park are both within a block of this destination. This area has a good Denver vibe and is within walking distance of my place.
