Fantastic food - good vibe in the Sports Bar - no noisy screens just a nice atmosphere. There is also a restaurant section out the back but for me it has no atmosphere. Walking distance - recommend booking as it is very popular.

If you go for a drive down to the Huon Valley and maybe the Cygnet loop - back up the Channel Highway call into this place! Delicious cider tasting and the most yummy apple pie. Lunch, morning/afternoon tea. Great rustic atmosphere.

I don't go here often but I understand the Asian restaurant is pretty good. For a special occasion the Revolving Restaurant is pretty special - fine dining with a revolving view of the harbour.

Wonderful atmosphere in a lovely old building. Small cosy theatres, great food, take a wine or a coffee in to see the movie or just enjoy lunch/coffee/wine in one of the comfy spaces. Also a great book shop.

Absolutely must do! Catch the ferry from Brooke St Pier - if you like a tipple or two go for the Posh Pit ! I recommend having a look around the museum then stopping for lunch (your brain could be hurting) then go back and do another hour. Several restaurant options. No day parking at the wharf to walk there (20mins) or taxi. Ferry is the best overall experience.
