Sightseeing

Sedona - Moderate hike - Just under 4 miles roundtrip. Great photo opportunity! I suggest doing a Sunrise Hike for some amazing photos. Devil's Bridge is known for its iconic arch that you can walk across (like a bridge) and the views are incredible. It can get busy - so best to go on a weekday if possible.

Tlaquepaque Village in Sedona is a fun place to visit (lots of trinkets and art) but also a really beautiful outdoor shopping area. It was designed to look like a traditional Mexican village and has beautiful architecture featuring cobblestone walkways.

Slide Rock Park is a state park located about 30 minutes from Doe Mountain in Oak Creek Canyon. The park has a couple very short trails but is most known for its 80 foot natural waterslide. The slide has a great decline from top and bottom and is very smooth to slide down. You can only swim during the summer months and the water still may be very cold even then. In the winter months swimming is not open, but the crystal water flowing through the red rocks still makes for some incredible views.

City/town information

Jerome is a 10-15 minute drive from The Tipsy Moon. If you have not been here I do recommend it. It is a steep drive up the Cleopatra hillside with some amazing views of Sedona. Do note that Jerome is not an 'easy' walking area if anyone has a harder time getting around. It has a lot of hills and cobblestone streets. The Haunted Hamburger has AMAZING views and great food, drinks and deserts.
