The best vegetarian restaurant in Manchester! And one of the best restaurants full stop - Greens is right at the end of the road and always delicious. Open most evenings from 5:30pm, it sometimes gets busy so worth booking on a weekend. It's really reasonably priced for such brilliant food (and a celebrity chef - Simon Rimmer).
I'd definitely recommend the gnocci.

Great pub quiz at Saison on Wednesday nights, and it's less than 5 minutes walk or stumble back home. You can also get a slice of pizza for £2!

With a cafe, lovely sunken botanical garden and then lots of trails over the nearby parkland, Fletcher Moss is a lovely place to soak up the Manchester sunshine, or can be combined with the trail along the river to make a great 5-7km run door to door from the flat.
