A stroll along the battery is one of the best ways to get the Charleston feels. Start over on East Bay street and follow the water until it wraps you around the battery with views of the harbor.

This is a bit of a drive, about 45 miles south of Charleston. Beautiful scenic undisturbed shoreline, lots of driftwood trees and tons of seashells. No shells or items can be removed from beach. Not ideal for swimming, rough currents and rocky footing.

This is a bit of a drive, about 45 miles south of Charleston. Beautiful scenic undisturbed shoreline, lots of driftwood trees and tons of seashells. No shells or items can be removed from beach. Not ideal for swimming, rough currents and rocky footing.
Great stroll at night along the harbor. Check out the famous pineapple fountain when lit up at night. Plenty of seating and grassy areas.
