Great coffee, they also sell some sandwitches, croissants and snacks. This is a great place to work. Spacious with lots of light.

One of our favourite cafes to go with kids. It is in the center of the city, next to Fløibanen (hence the name). There is Also a cafe up on Fløyen which is Also Nice, but this is down town.
Great quality bread, sandwitches, buns. Kids love it there. They also have good gluten free options.
They Also have a really cosy outside terrace at the back of the cafe with a tiny water pool where birds are playing. Kids love it here..

A must see when you visit Bergen. Spectacular views. There is a cafe and shop at the top, very big playground, If you hike a few minutes there’s also a lake where it’s possible to kayak some days for free. And another cafe by the lake. :)

There is 2 heated outdoor pools- shallow pool for kids and deeper bigger one. Also you can jump in the sea. And there is 2 saunas with view to the sea if you want to warm up.. And it costs only 75nok per person.

If you wanna go for a walk- This is just the most spectacular place. It is peaceful walking road stretching across the hillside with amazing views. It’s one of my favorite places to go in Bergen. My 3 year old loves it too.. There are almost no cars- just people jogging or walking their dog. It’s kind of like walking in the park but 20times better… (because of the view)

It’s one of my favorite places to go in Bergen. My 3 year old loves it too.. There are almost no cars- just people jogging or walking their dog. It’s kind of like walking in the park but 20times better… (because of the view)
Spectacular views, amazing hikes in nature. Last time I was here was some years ago before I had kids. Haha! 😀 Im sure families can go up there, I just havent done it.. We stick to Fløien with its playground and little lake and cafes.. 😉

Where to buy food when staying with us :)
Its 5minutes walk down the hill from the apartment. Its the closest supermarket and you can find (almost) everything you need and dont need in there. It’s an experience in itself. :) I highly recommend buying good bread here- you can buy artisan sourdough from Colonialen restaurant (one of the best high end restaurants in town) and other good quality breads. Often it is sold out in the evenings, so its worth going early for the good bread sake..

It’s a creative family who runs the place- if I remember it right- mom makes recipes, dad creates the interior, one brother makes the cakes, the other brother does the counting.. something like that. The result is incredible. It’s our favorite place when we want fast, good and nutritious food for our family but want a little break from cooking.
