It is a lot of fun! The river is beautiful ! You can go as a group for the day or they offer lessons as well. There is a nice trail along the river close enough to hear the roaring of the water...and a few places to stop and have a picnic while enjoying the view!

Madawaska Kanu Centre
247 River RdIt is a lot of fun! The river is beautiful ! You can go as a group for the day or they offer lessons as well. There is a nice trail along the river close enough to hear the roaring of the water...and a few places to stop and have a picnic while enjoying the view!
Another beautiful river, loads of history back in the day that they transported would by water!! Lovely site to see as well as a great trail to exhaust you!! Mind you the trail is a little farther than the waterfall. Stunning!

Food scene
As i just found out they have live music Friday and Saturdays on the patio located at the back of the cafe! Limited food but they do make a great flatbread, a few different flavours..vegetarian as well!

Friday's are a great day in town, some of the best freshly grown produce and homemade sweets ! Locals grow and bake ..yummm. Also there is a few vendors that create differently with wood and jewels,much more.. a great way to spend your morning before the beach! They are located by the Legion parking lot so whoever does not want to shop can go and have a beer while waiting!

Small town, early closure.
Everything here closes fairly early compared to the city..bring food and your choice of drink for the evening at least. Seen it happen many times when people assume it's open then are very disappointed!
