The church with the Torre dos Clérigos towers high above the city and is famous is the skyline of Porto. Nicolau Nasoni built this baroque style church in the 18th century. Inside the church you can see a lot of marble, granite and carvings. At the western end of this church is the tower which is made entirely of granite. You can freely visit the church, but climbing 225 steps to the top, one of Porto's most popular activities, requires a ticket.

There's graffiti on the walls, signature cocktails and a menu of sumptuous appetisers to go alongside. You'll want to stay for hours, and you should – just be ready to stumble home.
