Sightseeing

Sugarloaf Way trail: https://visitwicklow.ie/listing/sugar-loaf-way/ I created a Google Map to illustrate a looped trail from the cabin, around the Sugarloaf. Roughly 2 hours walking for the loop or more if you plan to go to the peak. Let me know if this map needs any changes: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1tGAjpftiK7B0BnIPnc2SNCBAVgoWXsTc&usp=sharing

Dublin city centre is less than an hours' drive from Kilmacanogue along the M11. Dart services run from Bray, but parking is limited. More parking is available at Shankill: https://www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/station/shankill Luas services also run from Bride's Glen stop, near Loughlinstown, but the nearest park and ride is at Carrickmines: https://luas.ie/ Bus Eireann route 133 runs from Wicklow-Dublin. Check timetables on the Bus Eireann website before travelling, as bus times have been somewhat disrupted as a result of Covid-19. St. Kevin's Bus Service also runs from Glendalough-Dublin via Kilmacanogue. http://www.glendaloughbus.com/
