If you're looking for a great local fast food restaurant. I highly recommend Burger and Green - located on the main street of Mangere Bridge Town Centre. The same family own the local, and famous bakery - Hong Kong Bakery. The burgers are delicious!

Sightseeing
Ambury Farm lies along the coast and is a great place to have a picnic or take a walk. You can take in various farm animals as you wander around the farm. This is also a significant habitat for shorebirds and the coast has examples of basalt lava flows.

The waterfront of Mangere Bridge is great to walk, run or bike around. The name of the road is Kiwi Esplanade and there is a playground about half way around.

The walk up Mangere Mountain is fairly easy for all fitness levels as the incline is slow. There is a great view at the top and a playground near the base of the mountain.
