If you are looking for a quality burger and an IPA then South Gate is the place to go in Oakhurst. For the kids, they have amazing handcrafted root beer. This is one of the more popular spots to go for dinner on the weekend so be prepared for some sort of a wait. But, their sweet potato fries and drinks make it worth the wait.

41969 CA-41Reimer’s is the only ice cream shop in Oakhurst and is some of the best ice cream you’ll ever have. They use local ingredients and make their own ice cream in the shop. Their candy is also another reason to visit, every small town has their candy shop but this one is truly special. Make the time to pay them a visit before you leave and pick up a sweet or an Oakhurst souvenir.

Smoke House 41 is a great BBQ spot. They have a build your own plate style of serving so it is super customizable. I recommend getting some of their brisket, it's absolutely mouth watering.

Millers has great food but they are also a great place to rent a boat or jet ski for the day and play on the lake. You can rent boats for water skiing, boats to just cruise and sunbathe on, and fishing boats. They also offer a discount for multi-day rentals.
