It's worth a trip to Portland just to visit Missionary Chocolates! A short walk from the house, this 100% vegan, naturopath owned business offers dozens of creative and seasonal flavors. They are famous for their meyer lemon truffle (amazing!), I also love the salted pinot noir, anise, and blood orange cardamom. And don't worry, they ship!

Laurelhurst Park is a short 5 minute walk south of the house. The walk through Laurelhurst neighborhood is almost as beautiful as the walk through the park. The park offers picnic benches, a duck pond and an off-leash area for dogs. Get your groove on with Sunday night Silent Disco over the summer months.

About 90 minutes from Portland, the Oregon Coast is rugged and beautiful. Well worth a day trip to see the Haystacks on Canon Beach or walk through the shops in Manzanita or Astoria.
