I recommend packing natural fibers as much as you can, as the environment is often humid. Definitely bring (or buy) bug spray and sunscreen. Bathing suits and hats. Also recommend a light rain coat especially if you come in rainy season. If you take supplements, you will want to bring your own as these are harder to come by in Tulum!

Cenote Rancho Santa Cruz is by far my absolute favorite that I have been to. This tiny private cenote is amazing and you do need a tour guide to explore it. Tulum is a beautiful and spiritual place. A lot of people have enjoyed the party culture here and also has an underbelly that has really been effecting the culture of Tulum as a 'spiritual vortex'. If you'd like to do things like Yatch parties, consider going to Playa del Carmen where the community welcomes and offers many options for these types of parties.
