Fox Island is a 5km trail located in the community of Champney's West (a 5 minute drive from Port Rexton and 10 minutes from Trinity). This trail is beautiful and slightly easier than Skerwink Trail as there are less hills to climb.

Puffins: One of Elliston's top attractions is it's puffin site. The rock where they make their home, is mere metres from land. You will never see a better view of these adorable and unforgettable sea birds
Hiking:
Maberly to Little Catalina trail is 17 kms in length. This hike would generally require a vehicle on each end of the trail, unless a return trip is planned.
History:
Elliston is the site of the Newfoundland Sealer's Museum which played a large role in local history. The monument to the 1914 sealer's disaster is also located in the community. Unveiled in 2014, this moment depicts a father holding his son on the ice, both later perished. This is one of the most moving monuments in the province.
Beach:
Elliston boasts a beautiful sandy beach. While the water can be chilly, it is a great place to relax on warm summer days
