This my favorite any time of year. In the summer there are many swim holes and tables for picnics. When the weather is cooler it perfect for a stroll along the creek with many secluded spots to enjoy with a friend, family or a contemplative moment in the peace and beauty of nature.

Lots of fun at the creek with gorgeous scenery. A must if you have children.

Hikes close to the Sanctuary
This trailhead is located just a 1 minute drive from the Sanctuary. The trail takes around Pyramid Mountain. It is the mountain that looks like a pyramid. The views are beautiful. It is an easier trail about 2 miles. Mountain bikers love it and is great for everyone including dogs. It is especially beautiful as a sunset hike. The setting sunlight lights up Cathedral Rock in hues of gold, orange and then purples.
