Every Saturday morning, take a 5 minute stroll down to the pet-friendly markets just near the iconic Urangan Pier. You may be able to snap up a unique souvenir to remind you of your Hervey Bay holiday. They even have a Parkrun from the start of the pier every Saturday, starting at 7am, its a beautiful jog along the esplanade. Check out the local video at the following link:

Urangan beach is a beautiful, clean, dog friendly beach with tourists and locals enjoying it all year round.

Pop down to the marina to enjoy the serenity, go for a walk out on the rock wall and see the fisherman brinbging their catch in off the trawlers. This is where you would most likely embark on a whale watching tour - and its only a 2 minute drive from our home :) Theres also a wide and clean boat ramp if you bring your own boat up for your stay.

Pialba is the shopping hub of 'The Bay', with a large shopping centre, cinemas, water park, and skate park all quite close to each other. Oh, and lots of food options too!
