The Phoenix zoo is an amazing place for adults and kids alike. There is so much to see and do while you’re there. It’s about a 40 minute drive from my house but a great event to entertain the entire family.
It’s great to see so many cool animals if you’re ok with it, you can even ride a camel! Also during the holiday season they put up millions of lights, have light shows set to music and it’s a fantastic thing to do at night

Located about 15 minutes away this place has it all from an ice rink, bars, clubs, nightlife, shopping and outlet malls galore. There is a ton to do and see here to keep you entertained!!

Make sure to get there early as parking is tough and be sure to drink/bring plenty of water because if you have to get helicopter lifted off, you pay the bill.

East McDonald DriveThis is one of the most famous places to hike here in Phoenix. However, it’s a very difficult hike, so best for more athletic and adventurous/avid hikers. This was a cute little park/zoo I found on the way up to the canyon. There is a part where you drive through the park and then a little zoo. Was actually pretty cool even as an adult

The fountain hills square with the water fountain is definitely something to see. Located about 50 minutes away it’s a nice drive through Scottsdale to the east side of the valley. I also belive there is a splash pad for the kids

Outdoor adventures
Need a break from the heat, lake pleasant is a large lake where you can rent boats, pontoons waterski jet ski and do all fun things water related. There are also a few restaurants to eat at to really get that lake life feel. It’s about a 25 minute drive from my house.

Check that off your bucket list! This is one of a kind thing to do, a bit spendy but there are a lot of companies so do your research. Balooning only happens during the cooler months (December-April) as it needs cool air to heat up
