These are the places we go to often when we eat out. They have great food. Prices aren’t outrageous. They take good care of us.

If you want a unique steak experience, this is the place. It’s a little pricey but the food is quite good. You may want to call ahead to be put on the list to shorten your wait time. There’s always a wait. Lol.

They have some of the best breakfasts around. There is a new, closer location in Davison. We haven’t tried it yet. But I’m assuming it’s the same.

Want to try a few different wines? Get a wine float or a hard cider float, or any other of their fun snd wacky drinks and appetizers. The one that makes me laugh is the pizza Bloody Mary. It’s a Bloody Mary with slices of pizza on skewers sticking out the top!! 😀

They have a long boardwalk along the lake where you can watch the wildlife - turtles, geese, ducks, swans, etc. as you walk along getting your miles in. They also have a nice playground for the kids to tire themselves out while parents rake a break. Lol. Bring your picnic and r joy a day in the sun.

If you’re looking to really get out in nature, this is it. Miles of marked hiking trails out in the woods. You can feel completely alone in the wild here. There is also a terrific sledding hill here for winter fun.

Get a Queen Ann’s apple - a wedged apple covered in hot caramel topped with whipped cream!!!! Yum!!! Plus tons more to see and do. Plan to make a day of it.
