Sightseeing

The beautiful beaches and marina of Port de Pollença are only a three minute drive away. Here you can relax in a sun bed under an umbrella on the lovely sandy beaches, sip a cocktail or two in one of the many bars and watch the world go by. There are plenty of water sports to enjoy too - windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing to name a few. The port has a wide variety of restaurants and bars and during the summer months gift and craft stalls are on display in the evening along the Pine Walk. If you love live music, make sure you visit beach bar La Roca to hear The Hustlers and special guests play our favourite songs from the 60s, 70s & 80s. Every Saturday during the summer months from 4pm to 6..45pm Wednesday is market day.

Palma is well worth a day out provided it's not too hot. Famous for its cathedral and port, there are also plenty of other things to see too. See the sights by the hop-on-and-off tourist buses or more leisurely by pony and trap. There are plenty of shops, bars, cafés, and restaurants too. The spectacular old mountain railway takes you from near the bus station up through the mountains to the old town of Soller, famous for its oranges. You can also take the tram from the old town to the port. Make sure you check your return train times though!

If you enjoy a good car boot sale you will really enjoy a morning out at the Gypsy Market in Consell, 20 minutes by car. With over a hundred stalls, there's plenty of treasure to find!

The cove beaches of Cala San Vincent are well worth a visit and the 10 minute drive through the countryside along a narrow road is enjoyable. There are a few cafés and bars where you can enjoy a cool drink and snack and the beaches are lovely. If you fancy a hike you can walk along the mountain top to Port de Pollença (weather depending).

The best beaches in the north (in our opinion!) It's like being in the Carribean....beautiful clear water and golden sand for miles. Sun umbrellas and beds can be hired and there are plenty of pine trees to sit under to keep out of the sun. our favourite spot is Muro beach.
