Food scene
Ride the single track trails starting at Camel's Back which is directly east on Heron Street (1/2 mile). After your ride you can stop for coffee and breakfast at Hyde Perk or Java or in the afternoon you can stop for pizza and beer at Sun Ray Cafe or a nice meal at Hyde House. Mtn Bike Rentals are available at Tritown, ask for Scott or Antonio and tell them Kirk sent you.

Hyde Park

Sightseeing
This represents Boise's Park system. Ride your bikes west along Heron for 4 blocks and then turn left or south on 23rd street. You will cross State Street in a cross walk. After crossing State Street, you will continue south for 2 blocks until you turn right or west on Pleasanton. Ride Pleasanton west for about 1 mile until you reach White Water Park boulevard and you will again cross via a cross walk and you will see a store called Idaho River Sports across the boulevard and on your right. You can rent Stand Up Paddle Boards and/or kayaks and paddle the 3 ponds of Esther Simplot Park. If you keep riding your bikes through the park you will arrive at the River where you can find manmade waves for surfing and kayaking. You are also now riding on our Greenbelt that travels on both sides of the river. There are too many places to mention, but you can find plenty of places to stop for food or drink along the Greenbelt. If you are more interested in exploring nature, I would head west or downriver. If you want to see more of our parks or want to ride into downtown 8th street, then I would head east or upriver. The Greenbelt is flat and it's easy riding and makes for an excellent leisurely ride. Boise has many really fun places to explore and a bike is a great way to explore them.
