Canoe is one of those restaurants that has excellent food and even better views. You can see city views,
Lake views and even planes taking off from Billy Bishop airport on the islands. Very pricey but worth it for the experience.

Union Station is one of the biggest subway stations in Toronto. You might want to start here as it is close to places like harbour front centre, Scotiabank arena, Rogers Centre as well as access to via rail and GO stops.

If in the downtown core, you should get accustomed to the street car scene. There are street cars on all major streets and they all generally lead back to Union Station. See ttc website for more info.
