恵庭岳や樽前山を望み、大自然が広がりとてもきれいな景色です。夏はハイキングや樽前登山・カヌーやボート遊覧船で楽しめます。冬は、1月下旬から２月中旬にかけてひょう氷祭りを楽しめます。温泉街もあり、一日コースで楽しむことができます。

It is the northernmost antifreeze lake in Japan and has extremely high transparency, and has been repeatedly recognized as the best in Japan by the Ministry of the Environment's lake water quality survey. The lake is around 40km, the maximum depth is 360m, and the average depth is 265m. It is the second deepest lake in Japan.
You can see Mount Eniwa and Mt. Tarumae, and the nature spreads out and is a very beautiful scenery. In summer, you can enjoy hiking, climbing in front of the barrel, canoeing and boat excursions. In winter, you can enjoy the ice festival from late January to mid-February. There is also a hot spring town, where you can enjoy a one-day course.
