One of our favourite places to go to for Thai food in the area. We love their calamari! Good prices for dinner meals, and they have a weekday lunch special that is available until 4:00. The restaurant also delivers.

This brand-new community centre offers much more than food! The centre does feature a cafe that serves coffee and other hot drinks, as well as snacks and a daily feature.
The centre also offers several LGBTQ2SI+ programs, including a drop-in centre for youth. There's a children's area with lots of toys that little ones can enjoy. Other programs continue to evolve and grow here, so best to check in with the centre to find out the latest offerings!

This gem is a short ferry ride away from downtown. The ferry ride over, and some areas of the island, offer lovely views of the city skyline. In the summer, the Centreville amusement park has rides that kids and families can enjoy.

Buy a City PASS for a discount on popular city attractions
If you think you might visit more than one of the city's popular city attractions -- such as the CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, Casa Loma, the Toronto Zoo, and/or the Ripley's Aquarium -- buy a City PASS.
It offers you a discount, and you would have several days to use the pass.

Do you like bicycling? Using Bike Share Toronto is a great way to get around the city.
You can pick up and drop off at several locations around Toronto. Check in and out with a credit card.
There are two points close to the apartment where you can get a bicycle -- one is at Dupont and Symington, and another is at Symington and Wallace.
Please bring your own helmet!

Use the subway to get around downtown
Driving downtown can be a headache. It is often easiest (and sometimes faster and cheaper) to use the subway.
The $3.25 cash fare is much cheaper than trying to park downtown during weekdays. Also children aged 12 and under ride free, so it is a family-friendly option!
