Mykonos Port - Port Authority of Mykonos
Mykonos old Port is the first view of Mykonos when somebody arrives at Mykonos Island. White washed houses and a small dock is the old port of mykonos . In a walking distance you will find the Mykonos Town . Some travel offices and banks are 100 meters away your arrival point .On the other side of old Mykonos Port is the dock that boats to Delos Island departs everyday except Mondays .

Mykonos Airport Mykonos Island GREECE - Arriving at the airport of Mykonos
It was a small airport but it is not anymore . Mykonos airport is international and airplanes arrive from all over the world during the summer time. Mykonos town is only 2.5 km away from MYKONOS AIRPORT and you can get there by taxi that you can found across the arrival gate. If there is no taxi waiting you can see the sign with the phone numbers of the taxi radio office so you may call and the taxi will be there for you. You may have to wait a little because there are no so many taxis at Mykonos Island but you will get yours if you call for these numbers :+302289023700 or +30228902240 . At the arrival area of the airport you may find an ATM BANK, public phones a post box the office of the hoteliers association of Mykonos the Olympic Airlines Office and many car rental companies .

The need to refine grain and compact it for transport combined with an ample year round supply of wind made Mykonos the perfect location. Easy access to the harbor was necessary so most of the island"s mills were positioned in or around the main port with the highest concentration covering the entire western portion of town. With the coming of industrialization the windmills importance began to decline as well as their numbers. The cluster of Kato Myloi (Lower Windmills), which rise proudly over the sea, on the small hill southwest of Hora (the city of Mykonos).
