Lake Effect Diner, in a 60's style diner, but with an updated twist. The cure and smoke their own meats. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Especially if it has any of the meats, and the griddled mac n cheese.

The Original, in walking distance to the house and in our opinion beats out Anchor Bar hands down. Presidents visit here, as the dive style location is truly unique. Wings, Beer and Fries.. thats about it.
They do take-out as well if it is busy.

This is a western New York staple. (While they’ve recently expanded to a large part of the east coast). We highly reccommend this grocery store for food, lunch, dinner, or just the experience. (Instacart also delivers). But other grocery stores just don’t stack up.

Williamsville is a great little walkable traditional village. Great shops, eateries, restaurants, ice cream shops and parks. Island Park and Glen Falls. Lots of festivals hosted here, both family friends and adult night life.

Niagara Falls either the US or Canadian side. Great views and parks, and hikes on either side. Tourist busy season is in the summer, but the winter is the prettiest as it is all frozen over.

Food scene
Buffalo is a very underground foodie city, which is one of our favorite things about it. Check out any of the food recommendations :)
Now these are the BEST wings in Buffalo hands down. a 20 minute drive and cash only, but again this is where the locals go.
There's a take-out side in the back, also a good option if you're on the run.

Great place to check out in Spring Time with Food Truck Tuesdsays at larkinville. It got so busy there is overflow trucks here at Flying Bison, which makes it alternatively a great place to check out.
