One of the most traditional and famous Barcelona seafood places, quite peculiar. Set menu, you get what they offer (though after they've served you what they offer, you can ask for more if you're still hungry :). It's a bit expensive, but I heard their seafood is superior, and that is one of Woody Allen's favorite places in Barcelona!

One of the most famous and old tapas places in Barcelona, very good, lively and affordable, located in La Barceloneta area. You'll find many tourists, as well as locals. It's run by a family, it's a bit small and you'll have to wait in line for a little while normally, but if you want to experience an authentic Catalan experience you can't miss it. Oh, and don't forget to try their "Bomba", they are famous for it :)

It's run by a family, it's a bit small and you'll have to wait in line for a little while normally, but if you want to experience an authentic Catalan experience you can't miss it. Oh, and don't forget to try their "Bomba", they are famous for it :)

Authentic and lively, close to the Cathedral of Barcelona and home to the beautiful gothic church Santa Maria del Mar, El Born is also a great place to have dinner in one of its many fusion restaurants and have some drinks afterwards. Highly recommended.
