This is a fantastic place where to rest, maybe have a quick snack and relax with Rome's view. A particular aspect of this area is the magnificent view that you will see through a keyhole. Yes, a door keyhole. You may ask to whoever walks by that area. Must see

This neighborhood isn't well known from tourists. It was called by the architect who designed it, Gino Coppedè, and it consists of 27 buildings arranged around the central nucleus of Piazza Mincio. Although it is in a site where many people, cars and buses travel, it is very quiet and has a magical atmosphere. From our apartment you can take bus 63 or 83 and walk by this nice district. I advise to bring a photocamera if you are fond of photography. You may eat then the best Carbonara in restaurant "Simeto" in Via Simeto. I always go there!

It is 30mins from the Rome so you should book a car for 1 day but it is worthy. A ancient palace immerse in all green and fountains of all types

Interesting museum for art lovers. The best italian art pieces, apart from the Vatican Museum, you will find them here! Plus you are in the center of Rome so a good Tiramisu or Ice cream won't hurt you!

Le Guide ai Quartieri

This neighborhood has had some interesting artists and literary people. It is very nice to take a walk during the day and resting during lunch in a nice typical roman restaurant or "tavernetta". Trastevere changes compeletly it's mood at night. Full of young people walking by and having a drink with friends. Quiet every night in the central piazza you may find some groups that play in the street. I suggest to go there by lunch and by night to see the difference. If you may, take a bicycle through the day.
