A great little dessert shop! Tons of different flavors of fudge, homemade candy, ice cream and caramel apples. A little tip: the line for ice cream is usually out the door especially in the summer. But the candy/fudge line is usually not long at all (there are separate lines - don't waste time waiting for the wrong thing!).

Parks & Nature
There are a few different play areas at this park. There are baseball fields, volleyball court, basketball court and playground equipment. The highlight for our kids though is this one little area beside the baseball field with a zip line. Our kids are obsessed with this free little zip line that over looks the lake.

This place is awesome! We have an annual membership and we love it. Most days they have animal presentations every hour on the hour. You will get to see the animals up close and learn about their histories from the zoo workers, who are actually passionate about their jobs. Snow leopards are highly endangered, but there are two sister snow leopards at the zoo.

In warm weather, this is a great place for a picnic and/or fishing. There are some covered picnic tables and public bathrooms. Since the water level of the lake is so low right now, you can actually walk out to the boulder "island" where the rocks are and catch a pretty view of the lake.
