At the top of our list of favorite spots to both relax and get great swim work outs is Queechy Lake. It’s 15/20 minutes east in Canaan. There is a public access fishing dock (well signed) accessible on your right off Queechy Lake Drive, the last right before the junction with Rte. 22. This place is gorgeous and peaceful. A true boon to the area.
