Our favourite local hike. Amazing views from the historic lighthouse and from Brook Point Lookout. Interesting geologic formations. You might see whales or bergs from the trail depending on the season. Only 2 km from the LBH!

Famous lighthouse, puffins, gift shop, possibly whale sightings, stunning coastal views, tour the historic lighthouse, and you can hike the Cape Shore trail to get here or just drive the windy windswept road and enjoy hanging out. Head to the Dungeon and Elliston after for a great day of exploring.

The best place to see puffins close up in the province!! Also a lovely sandy beach on a hot day. The Sealer’s Memorial is a beautiful and emotional tribute. See the statue on the coast and visit the Interpretation Centre. Get an ice cream by the beach too!

This one is a bit of a hike (DRIVE) from the LBH, but if you are a fan of Bernice Morgan's book or the movie Random Passage, then this is worth the trip. You can also hike to Kerley's Harbour and British Harbour from this site. Historic settelement village has been re-created for the film and maintained by locals. Stop by Trinity on the way and make a day of it!
