A bit over an hour's trip away, you can visit the splendid Cetina river spring. It's deep blue color will mesmerize you, and you can even swim in the spring or downriver. There is also a beautiful 9th century church (Church of holy salvation) nearby, and bike trails around the area.

A formidable but amazing mountain, only 1.5 h drive from Split. Wild horses, a skywalk, stunning views, and a very nice ranch with restaurant. The summit is accessible by car, and hiking here is very popular. If hiking, make sure you are well equipped, have lots of water, and consult the local mountain climbing advice
