Spend the afternoon on the beaches of McIvor Lake. This lake is really nice for swimming and the tree lined shores are the perfect place to relax. There are 3 different parking lots; we prefer the second or third.

Go beach combing along the neighbourhood beach at low tide and you'll find some amazing sea creatures in the tidal pools. It's only a short 10 minute walk to the beach. Be sure to wear good foot wear as you'll be walking on a reef.
