If you hire a bike you can cycle to (or walk) Farmleigh, a Guinness house before the government bought it as a B&B, an interesting tour, good restaurants, walk around grounds, lovely gardens.

It's big but you can hire a bike from the Park Gate Street end and spend a few hours looking for the deer roaming, there are three good restaurants to choose from, a zoo, and Farmleigh

You always have to visit at least one Cathedral on your trip don't you, this one is a good one to visit, with lots of history, and slopping walls, and Strongbow's tomb.

Not too far from Christchurch, and if you do want to do 2 cathedrals on your visit this is also worth a visit, sit in the little garden with your tea or coffee afterwards and chill
