Die Münsterplattform liegt in der Berner Altstadt.
Der Grundstein der Terrasse wurde 1334 gelegt, doch der Bau der Stützmauern wurde erst 1514 vollendet. Bis 1531 diente die Plattform als Friedhof, danach als Promenade. 1897 wurde mit dem Mattenlift, im Volksmund «Senkeltram» genannt, ein elektrischer Personenaufzug vom Mattequartier zur Plattform realisiert.
Die Münsterplattform bietet verschiedene Spieleinrichtungen für Gross und Klein. Eine Ludothek befindet sich im westlichen und ein gemütliches Gartenrestaurant im östlichen Pavillon.
Verweilen Sie auf den Rasenflächen und Bänken unter den Kastanienbäumen oder geniessen Sie die grossartige Aussicht, welche diese Anlage bietet.
