The Story bridge is one of Brisbane's iconic bridges. At night it's metal frame is light up in changing colours. For the full experience take a City Cat from Mowbray Park to Southbank (or vice-versa) to see the city at night for only a few dollars

Parks & Nature
From the top of the cliffs (Upper River Terrace) you get a great view of the city. From the bottom of the cliffs (Lower River terrace) you will see people rock climbing on the 20m high wall, having a picnic on the grass or using the free BBQs. There are stairs at either end of the cliff

If you have kids, there's a huge playground close by and plenty of parkland to explore or relax in.

The best brewery in Brisbane - in my opinion. Not the place to go unless you are comfortable paying a little bit more to get fresh, interesting craft beer. In the evenings they have food trucks where you can order food.

A great way to get here is to take the City Cat
18 wonderful and ever changing craft beers on tap. Good pub food to go with it. Chilled out place open from lunch to late night. Pool tables and a comfy atmosphere. This whole area (Boundary St) is worth exploring.

This is the closest bike station to our house, but you can drop the bike off at any station throughout the inner city.
NOTE: you must wear a helmet while riding a bike in Australia. Be sure to take a bike with a helmet so you don't get a fine from the police.
