Entertainment & Activities
The Turkish Baths is an absolute must when in Budapest. My favourite is Széchenyi which is very close to the flat. You can have a perfect chill-out time there, thermal water, nice architecture, sauna.

If you come to Budapest with children, it can be nice to spend a couple hours in the zoo. You can see Asha, the (baby)elephant who was born in the zoo.

When it's sunny you can sit outside, but the interior is also nice. They have good food, for reasonable prices and a large selection of Hungarian wines. Nice lemonades as well!

It's a bit French style, especially the intérieur, but the menu is great (seasonal) and the food is very good. I like the athmosphere, and there is always a great service, good wines, fantastic desserts.

If you want a fancy breakfast, go to Villa Bagatelle, you will definitely get it there. :-) And the "interieur" is so nice, too!

I've been there a couple times, and I was never disappointed. Let it be a breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just something to drink, I always enjoyed my stay and what I got.

If you feel like going to a nature spot, I recommend to take a bus (number 21) in Széll Kálmán square, and go up to the Buda hills. Normafa is a great spot to enjoy nature at its best, but with a panoramic view to Budapest, and some interesting destinations, such as the Elisabeth view point.
