About a 5 minute walk from our house is this amazing gastropub! They have delicious, hearty meals with veggie, meat, and seafood options (oysters!). There are two dining areas - one is a hopping restaurant, and the back room is more of a sports bar with TV's. Great drinks too. This is my #1 recommendation for a dinner spot in our hood.

Only a 2 minute walk from our location - East Glisan Pizza Lounge is of the best gourmet pizza restaurants in Portland. Great thin crust pizza with high quality and unique topping combinations.

Great spot for a to-go coffee and scone or bagel sandwich. They also make great pies. The sit down area is a comfortable place to meet, or work, and they have wifi.

Parks & Nature
A nice park in our area - about 1 mile away. This park is an old inactive volcano so it does have about a 400' elevation climb. Mt. Tabor offers great views of downtown and Mt. Hood in the distance. I recommend this spot as a nice exercising walk or jog away.
