Hannekes Boom is in the centre of Amsterdam, but it feels a million miles away from the city. You can hang out on the decking, covered with sand, and sit at one of their lovely picnic tables right by the water. From here there’s a beautiful view out over the city, and you can read the menu on the website.

Biking in Amsterdam
Amsterdam is a bike friendly city, you can bike all over Amsterdam and outside the city in dedicated lanes. it's important to keep on the right side of the lane/road and give a sign with your hand to the direction you want to take :) if you want to rent bikes let us know, we'll arrange them for you.

Canal boat tour
Seeing Amsterdam from the water through a canal boat is completely different experience. the boat houses on the sides of the canals and the view from the water is superb. we recommend going on a guided tour, and if you're romantic and want to drive a boat yourself with some cheese and a bottle of wine, you don't need a license. you can rent a private small boat and enjoy the scenery. you can also ask for our electric small boat, hop in it from the house boat and off to the canals.
