This trail goes all the way around Frame lake. The east side is a paved pathway to downtown, the museum and the Visitor's Center. It is the most scenic walking route to downtown. It is used by many locals. The west side is a hiking trail over rocks following markers.

This is the biggest and closest grocery store. It has a great deli section that offers pre-made foods (sushi, sandwiches, salads, soup, pizza, chicken strips, fries, etc.) Note: Walmart does not have a grocery here.

The Snowking Castle opens March 1st and last until March 31st. It is situated on Great Slave Lake and is constructed of snow and ice. It is very impressive. There are events held there every weekend and some week nights (bands, plays, raves, etc.). General entry is $5. Special events cost more. Long John Jamboree happens one of the last weekends in March. There is ice carving, dog sled races, bonfires, fireworks, beer garden, and so much more.
