This is a dine-in restaurant that is attached to a Wine store next door. In fact, to get to the restaurant, you will walk in through the wine store first. 😊 The restaurant has a vibe of new revived American Indian fusion cuisine that you may have seen on food network on TV. I will not be surprised, in the future, if I see the owner/chef at the Iron chef competition on food network. Almost all their food items are cooked in the flames in the brick oven that is visible from the dining area. They have a good wine selection. I love their Lamb Lollipop if they have it. It is a piece of lamb rack with a lump of meat on top. It is perfectly seasoned, seared and cooked on flames. (it is seasonal, sometimes they replace it with another item) Any item from their Game + pasture section of their menu is good (bison, elk, venison, wild boar, …). DRESS CODE (As per their website, the dress code for this establishment requires business-casual attire.) In effort to create memorable experiences in a fine dining atmosphere, we kindly ask our guests to observe our business casual dress code. The following items are not permitted: athletic wear (including tank tops, t-shirts, sneakers), beachwear (including flip flops), frayed or ripped jeans, baseball caps, large bags and backpacks. We also ask that gentlemen remove their hats when entering the dining room. Address: 4414 Evans to Locks Rd, Evans, GA 30809

This place is incredibly popular among both middle-aged and millennial crowds, attracting people for socializing with friends, dates, or casual hangouts. The atmosphere exudes a New York cosmopolitan vibe. They boast a commendable selection of beer and wine and an extensive array of spirits and mixed drinks. The majority of their menu features tapas-style dishes that pair exceptionally well with their diverse wine offerings. Notable items include a variety of charcuterie and cheese trays. My personal favorite is their mussels, prepared in a Saffron herb broth with mustard crème fraîche and roasted garlic butter—a true delight. Additionally, their cheese trays are a must-try. Meanwhile, my husband is a big fan of their handcrafted artisan wood-fired pizzas.

T-Bonz Steakhouse is a renowned name in the Augusta area, situated near the Masters on Washington Road in an old building. Serving Masters guests for several generations, T-Bonz is celebrated for its excellent steaks and distinguishes itself from chain restaurants. A few years ago, they expanded with a second location in Evans, a few miles north of Washington Road and away from the Masters hubbub. Reservations can be made at either location, but the Evans branch, being newer and housed in a more modern building, offers a quieter setting away from Augusta National, potentially providing a more relaxed commute with less traffic and crowds. Despite the different locations, both establishments boast the same menu and service quality.

I love everything they serve here. Sometimes, I ask the chef to surprise me with what he thinks is his masterpiece for that evening. We usually sit at the bar section (more casual, and we can easily get the attention of the servers at any moment). The bartender and the chef are very attentive. When they are not too busy, they come and chat with you, asking for your input about the food and sharing stories. The restaurant section has comfortable booths with high back sections that provide privacy for good conversation. Many locals, visiting officials, famous celebrities, and visiting businessmen/businesswomen come to this restaurant for dates, after business meetings, or happy hour. Excellent wine selection.

This is the premier oyster bar in town, renowned for serving a variety of oysters from different regions. They boast an excellent wine selection. All entrees come with southern side items and/or spices. Personally, I've only tried their raw oyster bar, which is the best in town.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for hanging out with family, friends, or for dates. Located in the historic section of Augusta, it's housed in a converted old brick building. They've incorporated a small enclosed courtyard as an extension to the main building for additional seating. During the spring, summer, and fall seasons, they transform their outdoor parking area into a seating space, covered with a canopy tent and furnished with bistro tables. We prefer sitting in this outside area. Personally, I love their Ginger Soy Tuna and Rosemary Mussels, while my husband is a fan of their Honey Lacquered Duck, Grilled Salmon, and Filet. The wine selection is good, though not extensive. If you're particular about the brand, it's advisable to check with them for availability.

Primarily seafood-focused, this restaurant caters to a casual/semi-formal crowd, offering an easy-going environment. It tends to get a bit busy during happy hours, but we usually prefer going around 7 PM after the rush. The owner, management, and staff are exceptionally friendly. When we have guests, we make a reservation, but if it's just us, we like to sit at the bar, where the service is excellent. At the bar, there's no rush to order, eat, and leave, especially beneficial during Masters’ Week. It's the go-to place in town for ordering Crawfish, softshell crab (whenever it is available), crab chop (similar to a crab cake), and shrimp. Some of our favorite dishes include the best She Crab Soup (creamy and delicious) served with a shot of Sherry liquor on the side. I'm a fan of their steamed crawfish with Cajun seasoning, and we always order their raw oysters. My husband enjoys the Chilled Smoked Salmon, Crab Chop, and Seafood Stuffed Trout.

Elegance meets warmth in this dine-in restaurant, offering a welcoming atmosphere. Outdoor dining is available on the patio when the weather permits. During lunchtime, it transforms into a modern bistro featuring artisanal pizza, steaks, salads, and lunch options, with a portion of the proceeds going to charity. This establishment, one of my favorites in town, caters to our preference for sitting at the bar section, ensuring the best service. However, the tables are also impeccably serviced. Notably, this restaurant is a joint venture with the GOODWILL Education Center (Helm College). They serve brunch, lunch, and dinner. My personal favorites include Edgar’s Signature Burnt Ends—Cherrywood smoked pork belly with cider barbecue sauce and peanuts. A warning: if you're not a fan of fatty meat, this might not be for you 😉. I also adore their Crispy Pecan Shrimp. Meanwhile, my husband loves their hand-cut Ribeye or Filet Mignon. While the wine selection is good, it's not extensive. For a sweet indulgence, I always go for the Georgia Peach Martini Drink.

The historic Augusta Canal, built in 1845 as a source of power, water and transportation, is the only intact industrial canal in the American South in continuous use. During the Civil War it was the site of the Confederate States of America Powder Works complex. Deepened and widened in the 1870s, the canal brought an industrial boom to the city, especially in textile manufacturing. The Canal and its mills were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1978. The United States Congress designated the Augusta Canal and nearby land a National Heritage Area in 1996. Several canal-side structures pre-date the Civil War and others to the later 19th Century and the heyday of America’s Industrial Revolution. (Credits goes to Augusta Canal website)
