New Chums beach was named one of the top 10 beaches in the world. It is completely unspoilt and looks the same as when Captain Cook first saw it centuries ago.
Just a 10 minute drive to Whangapoua then a 1.5km walk that takes about 1hr total there and back. You will need to wear shoes and please only leave your footprints behind you.
