Parks & Nature

Get ready to see sloths, deer, lizards, snakes, monkeys and raccoons! Keep in mind that you cannot bring packaged food in to the park (they do not want you to feed the monkeys). Feel free to hire a tour guide (around $65), but you can walk through on your own for $16. The ticket counter is not located close to the gate entrance (it's about 200 feet from the entrance), so be sure you stop by there first to get your tickets. Also, the park is closed on Mondays and closes at 4:00pm on the open days, so make sure you get there early enough to walk through the entire park and end at the Manuel Antonio beach. Once they are closing the park, you must leave the beach and make your way back to the entrance. Allow enough time to enjoy the entire park.
