For sights and sounds of London, it is best 👌 to take the Elizabeth Line, which is a 6 minute walk away from the property to Bond Street to enjoy a day out shopping In Central London, or take the District line to Kew Gardens or the Overground to Richmond to walk along the River Thames. The Olympic Park is a great day out. It is also right next to Westfield Shopping Centre so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. There is also a bicycle scheme operating in the park, which allows you to cycle through.

If you are here for the shopping try spending the day at Westfields. With its many bars and restaurants, you will surely be heading back again and again.

If you are travelling from Stansted Airport - You can take the coach to Stratford International. From there you can take the overhead train to Manor Park or the 25 or 86 Bus heading towards Ilford and you will be here within 1 hour. If you are travelling from Gatwick, you can take the Gatwick Express or any other Train into Victoria. Then jump on the District Line heading East. Get off at East Ham and you will be here in 2 hours from the airport. If you are travelling from Heathrow, you can use the Piccadilly line from Heathrow. You can decide to change over to the District Line heading East and get off at East Ham. If you have luggage this is a great way to travel as you simply stay on the same platform and change trains. If you have little luggage the fastest way is to change from the Piccadilly Line to the Central Line. Come to Stratford and from Platform 8, take the overhead train to Manor Park.

Neighbourhoods

This area is multicultural. It is loved by persons from an Indian background as there are lots of vegetarian shops, halal shops and restaurants providing South Indian cuisine. 😀 all within walking distance. For those who would prefer traditional dining you may do so at Westfield in Stratford which is 10 minutes away by train or a 35 minute walk along Romford Road. This area is also near Green Street which caters to the taste of Indian, Bangladesh and Pakistani fashion. There are also Chinese restaurants and Lebanese cuisine. If you enjoy an early morning walk you may walk to Wanstead and enjoy an early morning walk in Epping forest or to Wanstead Park. There are no clubs and bars in this area due to the religious orientation of the residents but you are sure to find clubs and bars in the city of London and Stratford. At Westfield there is a casino, movie theater and lots of places to eat. You will also find a theatre, shops and restaurants in Ilford a bus ride away or a 20 minute walk, heading d east along Romford Road from the flat. All you need to do is take your pick. Don't forget to visit the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park which is in Stratford, 10 minutes by train and has many lovely dining 😀 options.
This property is situated near Wanstead flats, an area popular with early morning walkers bikers and exercise enthusiast. If you enjoy a forest walk or picnic, this is the perfect place.
