Food Scene
If you want to eat something special, I highly recommend Fafa's! They are located in the city center but you can also find them in Kallio (metro station Sörnäinen) and Itis (metro station Itäkeskus, 6 minutes from apartment). The best pita in my opinion is Falafel & Halumi, wow!

Best kebab in town! They serve special meal called "King Special" it's not expensive, includes drink and you will be full for sure! Also one great plus is that they are open until 24.00. Note that kitchen closes at 23.30.

If you want to experience small and cute cafe with the sea view, I highly recommend Kahvila Kampela and their desert called "Pannukakku"! It's traditional Finnish desert, and even though I'm not big fan of pannukakkus, these are amazing!

Parks & Nature
The harbour of Vuosaari is perfect place if you want to run / walk / bike somewhere! I personally enjoy the views a lot and there are many hidden places with even better view. If you want to hear more about hidden places, please let me know I will guide you to them.

Shopping
The nearest shopping center from the apartment is Columbus. In Columbus you can find two bigger grocery stores S-market and K-Citymarket. I personally prefer S-market because it's closer to home (5 minutes walk) but I also like a little store called "Punnitse & Säästä". There you can buy eco & bio food and they have a big selection of snacks such as nuts, chocolate, dried fruits etc.
If you are interested in clothes, you can visit Lindex and Seppälä. For more shopping I recommend shopping centers such as Itis (metro station Itäkeskus), Forum (metro station Rautatientori) and Kamppi (metro station Kamppi).
