You could easily walk here. Just pass through the Capitol grounds on Columbia street. Overlooks Capitol Lake. Their food is good too; but order lightly, it's rich.

Walk the switchback trail down to Capital Lake for a paved path that’s popular among walkers and runners. Don’t be surprised if you spot Gov. Inslee who uses this route for his early morning workout.
