One of my all time favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. Beyond savory. Large outdoor garden dining area, and a good bar scene as well. Brunch on the weekends is superb.

This is a special experience. Best Japanese food this side of the East river. Not a sushi restaurant, cooked Japanese food, but their "jewel of the day" is the freshest sashimi I've ever had. Sake menu is pages long. Diners get private rooms.

I also happen to be a part owner, so a bit biased, but it's a rocking place. I hang there a lot, especially in the warmer weather.
